my old strimmer (same make) stopped working after about two and a half years - I expected longer considering the amount of use it gets (I had only recently changed the strimmer spool). I bought the same again as I didn't have to buy another battery for it.

Best lightweight strimmer without cord. Good 2ah battery life, but best to have 2 just in case with larger gardens. Auto feed pretty good but need to buy right cord reels for your model as some can stick

Recently took on an allotment so bought this after a neighbour used the same equipment, with the 18v range I can use this with the drill I also bought and a circular saw.I bought the 4ah 18v battery which lasts a good 35-45minutes on a full charge, the 2ah 18v batteries seem to last around 20mins but deliver less mechanical power. I would suggest investing in a wrist splint as holding the unit for a full battery can leave your wrist aching, a splint helps me use it for multiple sessions.I have included some before/after pictures for you to see the evidence.

Good strimmer gets the job done and don't kill the battery
