The SparkFun Triad Spectroscopy Sensor AS7265x is a compact, breadboard-friendly optical sensor combining three spectral sensors and integrated UV, visible, and IR LEDs. It measures 18 light frequencies from 410nm to 940nm with ±12% accuracy and 28.6 nW/cm² sensitivity. Featuring a no-solder Qwiic I2C interface and optional serial communication, it offers flexible, precise spectral analysis ideal for advanced prototyping and scientific exploration.

One of my favorite purchases!
This Triad sensor has been fun to use. The cost is affordable considering how useful it is. One project used the SparkFun Triad Spectroscopy to compare well water. The sensor was connected to a SparkFun Qwiic MUX board which was connected to SeeedStudio's WIO Terminal. The 18 measurements were displayed directly o the WIO Terminal and also written to the micro SD card. An I2C RTC provided a date/time stamp for the file name and each test recorded in the file. I also used the sensor to compare different brands of coffee!
