okay so this is like a nutty shortbread cookienot eveyrone likes it but then theres me

I sought out this product because Metal Gear Solid 3, and figured that if it was good enough for Big Boss is can't be too bad.The packaging was neat and the "food bars" inside were a great texture. I mostly got a lemony kind of flavor from it, but I also experienced a bitter after taste after. After the first couple of bites though it wasn't as noticeable.As far as fullness and satiety, I was impressed. Normaly I go about 6 to 8 hours between meals due to my work schedule and sometimes experience weakness an hour or more before my next meal along with hunger pangs, today was different after eating one of the packs. I didn't feel overwhelmingly full but I felt sustained and had no crash. I'm ordering more to experiment further with it.

Package arrived today. Box was squashed and seal had been broken. Worst of it all, expiration date is 2024.11.

Received product quickly. Looked up the shelf life after receiving and discovered that this one is almost 5 years old and expires this year so I took off 2 stars from my rating. Also the taste was pretty terrible so I guess I'll have to try the other flavors

I'm sorry to say... this isn't quite what I expected.. The cookie itself, at first tastes good, but quickly has a very bitter aftertaste... and sadly, aftertaste sort of IS the taste of food, normally, so... I really am sorry to say that it just doesn't taste good, and I mean that in the sincerest way possible... who knows, actually, maybe only the fruit flavor is bad, maybe the maple or chocolate is good, I hope so, because fruit is definitely not what you wanna get if you want to get something that tastes good..
