I have tried countless chapsticks and lip balms through the years and nothing comes close to the quality of this one. This lanolin lip balm is healing, tasteless, and pure. My lips have never look better.

Comparing this Pure Anhydrous Lanolin Lip Balm vs Superlan Ultra Pure Medical Grade Refined Kosher Lanolin for Chapped Lips (a lip gloss style tube with Lanolin and jojoba oil.). vs Lansinoh HPA Lanolin tube. All 3 of these seem easier to use than the jars of Lanolin. I just don't like the feel of trying to get something out of the brick of lanolin ;-) I'm comparing the 3 for using on my very very very dry/cracked lips. I also use Lanolin on my cuticles, but only every really use Lansinoh for that. This is review for lip application:Lip Balm stick: goopy, but not shiny. Seems more like lanolin should and provides thicker coating. However, doesn't seem to stay on as long asLansinoh HPA Lanolin. However, a WHOLE LOT easier to apply! I never left it anywhere it would get hot, because would guess it would liquefy. However, that is true for any Lanolin product.Superlan Lip: shiny. Very easy to apply. Moisturizing, but not as healing as the pure Lanolin products.Lansinoh HPA Lanolin tube: Can be very very tough to squeeze out. Very solid (much more so then a scoop of grease). However, works best of the 3. However, I use it the least frequently because so hard to use. When use it, I use it only for cuticles. Really impossible to do the lips.

It leaves my lips very soft and hydrated.

I tried SuperLan, Lansinoh and EOS Intensive Dry Lip Repair. Out of these three I prefer EOS. SuperLan and Lansinoh are a little sticky and don't last long. On the positive side, SuperLan and Lansinoh do not have that characteristic lanolin smell.

This was a lifesaver over the winter when my lips were really dry. I do find all the lanolin lip products to be somewhat expensive for the amount you get. This one was cheaper than another brand but still a small amount. Technically you only need a little, but I did run through it fast. Now I just buy the bigger tubes of lanolin nipple cream and it lasts me longer. Not as convenient as a small tube like this, but you get more for your money. Other than that, I would recommend it because it did work.
