I recently purchased the NOCO GENIUS10UK 10A Car Battery Charger, and I’m very impressed with its performance. It’s become an essential tool for maintaining all of my vehicle batteries, from my car to my motorbike. What I Love About It:Versatile Charging OptionsOne of the standout features of this charger is its ability to handle both 6V and 12V batteries, including AGM, leisure, lithium, and even motorbike and caravan batteries. This makes it incredibly versatile, and it’s perfect for anyone who has multiple vehicles or uses a variety of battery types.Smart TechnologyThe NOCO GENIUS10UK is packed with smart technology. It automatically detects the battery type and adjusts the charging process to suit. I appreciate how easy it is to just plug it in and let it do its thing. The charger also includes a desulfation mode, which helps extend the life of my batteries and keeps them in optimal condition.Portable and CompactThis charger is incredibly portable and compact, so it doesn’t take up much space in the garage or shed. It’s easy to store and transport, which is great if you need to take it with you on the go or to a remote location.Maintenance ModeThe maintenance mode is a fantastic feature for long-term storage. It trickle charges the battery to maintain its charge without overcharging, ensuring that it’s always ready to go when I need it.User-FriendlyThe charger is very easy to use. The LED indicators provide clear information on the status of the charging process, so I always know what’s going on. It’s also incredibly safe, with built-in protections against overcharging, short-circuiting, and reverse polarity. The Results:Since using the NOCO GENIUS10UK, I’ve noticed that all my batteries stay in excellent condition, even after long periods of inactivity. Easy, powerful, does any job you give it
This is a brilliant bit of kit. I had the 5 before and it died a death after a few months. This is a beast and works very well for both my motorbike and car. It trickle charges, charges from flat and can repair too. Not complex operations or manuals, just push the button to specify the type of battery you have and this thing does the rest.Don’t bother with the lower powered and cheaper models. Save your money and just by this one.Highly recommended!

Pleased with this. Upgrade on my old fashioned charger.
Great little charger. Bought this because my good old fashioned 'angry pixies' car battery charger, whilst fine for chunky lead acid batteries, is no good for modem AGM or sealed cells, and my little CTEK (which I also heartily recommend) lives permanently on the motorbike battery. This thing does the lot. It also has a battery recovery mode - de-sulphates the battery and helps re-condition it. Does it actually work? My tractor seems to think so - a rather neglected battery now starts OK. I have paired this with some of the fixed wiring kits that go with it, so now I have a simple and quick connection to keep little used but important batteries (like those on my generator) up to snuff.

Brilliant! Does what it says on the tin
I was initially sceptical, but I managed to charge a VARTA wet cell that was down at 1.08V when I removed it from my car. It then sat on a shelf for another 3 weeks before getting charged up. I connected it to the NOCO and it didn’t protest one bit.The instructions could be improved, as the charger went through a cycle where the lights appeared to get fully charged before starting the actual charging process. For the VARTA I was able to charge the battery without it requiring any repair. It took 9 hours for the battery to get to the green LED.I initially made the mistake of disconnecting the battery while the green LED was flashing. Please note that your battery is only charged when the green light is steady and no longer pulsing. This can take another 24-72 hours depending on the condition of the battery. As my car has been undergoing maintenance, my second YUASA battery had gone flat as well. My car stops locking below 2V and it was around this level of discharge. I connected this up, and just as with the VARTA, it didn’t require any repairs to be selected before charging. This time the lights didn’t go through an initial cycle, I believe the NOCO may do this when it’s first used as it’s a cell in itself. The YUASA wet cell battery was fully charged after 3 days. It’s been happily sitting maintained for the past week now. It’s not overheating, the clamps are of high quality and overall this is a professional bit of kit.
