The 11" I received is marked Made in Japan.

Q: Which size would be best for deck boards and general exterior stuff?

We used the 11" on deck boards and it worked great!

Q: My cat los an arm... is this to heavy to use as a replacement?

To replace your cats arm with this tool would be challenging. No articulation at the elbow or wrist would make for a funky walking kitty. Probably require a cane or at the very least, a squires walking stick and large exotic fur covered hat with matching ankle length coat. Now if you are looking to pull nails from 18gage brads to 20penny nails, this tool exemplifies perfection. As for a reasonable articulated prosthetic for a feline friend, you will require a veterinary surgeon of the highest talent and skill.
