works very well in eliminating all alternator whine and interference noise for my subwoofer in my car

This was not fit for purpose. It increased the humming noise almost damaged my subs.

Good product, better than most I've tried.

Eliminated weird noises that were occurring while gaming/high load on PC (that sounds like a motorbike/car engine)

Very light and plastic. Didn't remove my ground loop hum

Was having problems with buzzing from my speakers, fairly quiet while playing music but louder while playing games. This ground lift got rid of the buzz completely.

I ordered this to try and silence ground loop noise on my Mac speakers. I had done some reading on the net and this seemed like it might be the cure for the loud buzzing I was experiencing with my external speaker setup.Sadly, the net result of installing this filter was that the noise actually significantly INCREASED!Disappointed, I then checked with the seller, caraudiosecurityuk and received a reply stating "If the product has been returned to us and there is no fault found, you are liable for all carriage costs and the time we spend on the unit diagnosing the fault. This charge will be £25.00 (which includes the carriage back)". I didn't fancy taking £25 worth of risk, so I binned it.I've since cured the buzzing by buying a good quality screened audio lead.

I ordered one for to stop white noise on my PC to my Behringer 1832USB Mixer, after it did the trick, I ordered 2 more for some other stereo inputs and they are all working perfectly and a permanent addition to my set up, well recommended if you want to get rid of white noise and humming.
