Just ordered my fifth one. Bought my first one a couple of years ago. The low price made me hesitant, but I really wanted an IR laser, so I took a gamble. Now I just go ahead and order one for any new rifle. Just built an AR for my grandson and his is on the way. Sturdy aluminum body, and all the controls feel solid. Easy to adjust and holds zero very well. Visible laser and IR laser both easily seen at 100+ meters. The flashlight is super bright. Couldn't be more satisfied with this low cost option.

Cheaper alternative to Miltary spec units. But not plastic garbage aluminum housing. O-rings for weather resistant. Not sure of the power of the IR but I am sure way lower mill spec.

If like me, you don't want to pay close to $2K for the name brand sight like this for your under $1K rifle, you found the right item.The machining is good (all aluminum - NOT plastic) and includes the battery and wall charger.The not so good: lasers were far off from factory, battery cannot be recharged in the unit, pressure switch is not a durable as hoped.The Good: Solid aluminum construction. With bore sight laser and (included) wrench, it only takes a few (well, maybe 15-20) minutes to align lasers. (you do need night vision if you are going to use the IR laser). The pressure switch is no worse than many, and can be replaced inexpensively with another if it breaks. After several hundred rounds, the scope is still holding zero. The light is bright. Finally, the price is right for all you get.

So i have 2 currently, loved them both, but today the black cone like object that covers the IR laser flew off down range. A weird white plastic part is now exposed. I emailed SMS asking what they or I can do, awaiting a reply. If this does get resolved, 5 stars no problem. Im guessing this was a one off defect (only used it 3 times or so since purches, for my 9mm sub gun). Other than this issue, def 5 stars. Love my other one for my 556 spr, annoyed this happened.

Put these on several platforms. Took friends and family members to range’s after they finished safety training. Worked through iron sights, and red dots till they were comfortable. Then went through some reaction training culminating with the thumb activation of the laser. They said it felt like cheating because they were all hitting center and could visually see the importance of proper trigger management and controlling their breathing. These devices are all still working after 6 months of operation. Seem as sturdy as the much more expensive devices that I have used in the past.

Seems like a solid product for the price, if weight isn’t an issue. It’s probably more narrow than the more expensive products. The light brightness seems sufficient. The remote switch doesn’t appear to be compatible with any rail attachment and only comes with a cheap piece of Velcro to adhere it, but perhaps there’s a snap-on rail cover that can hold it, it’s just too bad they don’t supply one with this. My major issue was that it arrived with 1 of the three wrenches outside the packaging, no packaging around either the unit or the charger this allowing them to bang into each other. The light lens appears to be dirty and has scratches all over it, which kind of proves that this was used before being returned and then never inspected before reselling it to me. The rubber tie down for the battery cap was also broken off. This one is being returned.

Appears to be very nice quality. Price is across the board when shopping for IR laser units and after doing some research I opted for this unit to get my feet wet. Man I am surprised. Looks to be well made. Blue laser is bright and so is the white light. I haven’t tried the IR laser yet but will as soon as it gets dark. Unit is compact but has a bit of weight to it. A fair trade off I think for being aluminum rather than plastic.
