Nice color display, useful for a multitude of uses.
This display has a pinout that allowed it to be plugged directly into an Arduino Uno or Mega256, but the SPI pins do not match up with the hardware SPI pins, which means you'll have to bit bang (control via software) the SPI interface. If you're willing to reroute 2 of the display pins, then you will be able to use the hardware SPI inteface on your microcontroller. I suspect this will plug into many more different models of Arduino hardware, but check the pin assignments first. There are libraries for controlling this display for various platforms, so you're not limited to just the Arduino. If you need a small color display, then this one might be right for you.

Neat little ST7735 display that can plug right onto the Uno/Mega
The media could not be loaded. This is a great little display that uses the standard ST7735 display driver. Note that this is a 2 pack, and is the version without an integrated micro SD reader. There are many online tutorials about how to use this, but they are centered on a slightly different pin-out than this product, because this one is designed to connect right onto the Uno, and use software designated SPI, rather than the hardware SPI.You can use other tutorials, if you hook everything up right. However, if you want to plug it right onto the Uno, then you will need to go to the sellers LCDwiki page, and download their examples and libraries. They will have sample code using the “software SPI” interface, which is the one you need to plug right into the UNO. If you want to use the Uno’s hardware SPI, you’ll need to hook up the wires to different inputs, and not plug directly on.The ability to plug directly onto the Uno/Mega is what sets this apart from other similar displays. And the seller has robust documentation, libraries, and sample code on their LCDwiki page. The video and pictures are using the sellers sample codes. This is the right way to sell a product, and gets this seller 5 stars!
